Full of dreams.
Like any introvert who drifts in his imagination almost 90 % of his free time, or the time he thinks he is free, I had been dreaming of so many things over the last few months of my stay here at Kuwait. Dreaming of about everything, thinking and overthinking on every possible topic that could be distantly related to my life and or future or even me at times.
well, After having gone through some numbers of books on life in its essence, career development and management, mind development and management, personal development, yoga and meditation, skill listings upon skill listings, and the internet of course, I realized that everything that was in words, though however powerful, was only feeding my dreams and all were pointing out at a single simple thing.
ACTION!
Yes, every knowledge that I gained, gain and will gain will only be of use when I use it or am able to interpret it in any way.
Guided ACTION or discipline, in particular, was what I found missing in me at first and learned immediately that I am where I am because of the level of discipline I have. Now it might seem like I am writing an article on discipline, which I am not, but its the hard truth I found after the tremendously vigorous diving into the books that I did. And not only books but I also associated most of what many books wrote on their perception of success and achievement with the real-life instances that people I know have gone through or I myself have gone through and found this simple concept to be the very truth in the core.
Simple, but not easy.
You practice discipline habit by habit at a time. look back after most of them done, and then you realize that you have set some parameter of discipline in your life.
But the Very crux of it that I am trying to explain in this read is that, start on 'IT' right away. You may, and will fail many times and not once, but the next best thing is to try again.
Get that? I'll simplify that to you, you wake up at four go do your workout/ cardio whatever you'd planned. The next day you do it, and the next day, and the next day but on the fifth day you wake up late and so can't really pull yourself up, and you skip.
What about the sixth day?
Experientially I can tell that more people will opt not to go again because they had that one day break! But discipline in its essence is picking yourself up after you fell, then getting back on the race as soon and as stronger as possible.
Yeah, that is what I think most people aspiring to become more become of some influence in life should start to do right now.
Like Nike says, JUST DO IT !
